Mid Century Modern Sculpture Signed Abstract Geometric

My husband found this sculpture last week end at an estate sale in the South Jersey area.

Signed, but the signature is illegible – partially smudged. Signature possibly begins with “Mor”, Any help with deciphering the name would be appreciated.

The work is very similar to Curtis Jere’s kinetic sculptures of the same era. Any strong movement or breeze moves the copper squares.

The sculpture stands 16″ tall and the squares are welded to brass
rods which are are inserted into a wooden base.

The condition is super! Nice patina on copper. It doesn’t look like it was ever cleaned.

Why don’t I ever find art like this?

Anybody got any notions as to the artist’s name?
